An Orange Maple Leaf

Orange Maple, originally uploaded by la Naváa.
One of my autumn themed gift boxes, the Orange Maple Leaf was hand-stenciled. The box itself is an origami designs hand-folded by me.

Made with 100% recycled construction paper, and a little up-cycled too. :) The yellow box top was wrapped in sheer brown ribbon.

The bottom is a brown shade to match the leaf embellishment.

I made my gift boxes to be durable and strong. This is no one-time-use keepsake box.

Gift your gift... with love.

A new Etsy Banner?

I've been meaning to create a new banner for my Etsy shop for a while.  I finally got around to making one.

It's really simple; I actually used the Etsy Banner Generater to start, and threw in a few extra touches to make it more my own.  Certainly not the final project, but enough to change it up for a bit.

So I'm wondering, where or how other Etsians go to find and create their banners?  There are some GREAT ones out there.  ZoeTropa of Etsy has a simple but fun banner.  SnuggleBebe has an absolutely adorable banner that fits her baby boutique quite well.  Incorperating your work in your shops banner is the way to be I think; see photographer ShannonLeighStudios banner.

Sometimes I'd love to be my own little graphic designer, but that's not where my business is taking me... yet.  ;)

Polka Dot? Polka Dot!

I was so excited to recently be commissioned to create custom Polka Dot gift boxes- large ones! The task was to construct a matching Blue on Blue polka dot gift box, in a larger size than my current Polka Dot gift boxes.  One box turned into two, which turned into three and then four! Obviously I was in 7th heaven.

The result included a super sized Dark Blue on Light Polka Dot gift box, with matching tiny box. And… another super sized Purple on Pink Polka Polka Dot gift box, with little guy!

I think they turned out to be Super Cute! Much ♥ to you PineappleLover123!
