la Naváa @ SoopSee.com

Now here's a site to keep one organized.  SoopSee holds my profile info, Etsy listings and Blogs from Blogspot; all in one place.

Even tweets on Twitter.  Hmm... perhaps I should get on Twitter

♥ Tropical Paradise ♥

So this morning, I found myself lying in bed... wide awake... at 4am.  I couldn't sleep, so I began running through my to-do list.  One of my to-do items included a new Etsy Treasury.

Checkmark!  Cheers my fellow Etsians.

♥ this!

I found this beautiful hair piece on a fellow Etsian's site:

It's a real rose!  I can't believe it; that's awesome!  Lisa describes it as a one of a kind (OOAK), lemon/lime hair piece which could also be worn as a pin or pendant.  What a novel idea.  I ♥ it!

Front Page Yay!

Wow!  Many thanks to Amy of the ThePeachTree!  Her "Free" treasury made it to the Front Page of Etsy last Friday!

I logged in to my Etsy, as usual; but there was something so very unusual!  I had a handful of shop hearts, item hearts and views!  I was so excited to see my Chocolate Mousse Necklace was featured for all Etsians to see.  How wonderful; it surely made my day.  :)

Ozreale - Smokey Quartz & Sterling Silver Necklace

New to Etsy!

The combination of the Smokey Quartz stones and wrapped sterling silver create a refined elegant look.

These puffed square stones are so crystalline that you can see reflections of the surrounding trees.

Aww... so refreshing.

~ Unlocked Treasures ~

How lucky am I?  Today la Naváa was featured in a handpicked Treasury by Yann Pendaries, a photographer in Paris, France.

Yann's rendition of UNLOCKED TREASURES contains 16 different items from fellow Etsy artisans.  And la Naváa was lucky enough to have the "GREEN" Scrabble Necklace featured as one of these personally selected photos.

Much ♥ to Yann!

New @ la Naváa!

It's time to unveil la Naváa's newest addition to the line-up!

G I F T  B O X E S!

Gift boxes for fun.  Gift boxes for people.  Gift boxes for parties.

Weddings, birthday parties, baby showers!  You name it, I'll make it!

I've been having a lot of fun making these little treasures.  In fact, last night I stayed up until nearly 2am with my mom making a gift box for her to give to someone that she holds near and dear.  Hope she likes it.  ;)

The little boxes I am picturing here will be added to Etsy today.  I'm planning on having individual listings and sets of three's.  But really, I will make whatever your heart desires.  Custom orders for multiples are certainly welcome, and will be accompanied by discounts.

Currently, the six sets that I have measure 2-1/2 inches wide and 1-1/4 inches tall.   Different sizes to come in the future, as well as different styles.  Please let me know if you have a specific request.

BTW... All jewelry purchases from my Etsy shop will be lovingly packaged in one the these little darlings as my gift to you.

Cheers!

Etsy Treasuries by la Naváa

Etsy by definition is a site to enable people to make a living making things,
and to reconnect makers with buyers.

Their mission is to build a new economy and present a better choice:
Buy, Sell, and Live Handmade.

I am a firm believer in Etsy's mission statement, which is why I choose Etsy as my primary shop for la Naváa.  Hours are spent during my week, perusing the newest items on Etsy.  I like knowing where these little treasures are made, and even better who made them!

Most of my jewelry creations are one of a kind items, or OOAK as known on Etsy.  All of my items are handmade by me; this is what Etsy thrives on.  I hope you stop by Etsy to take a peak at all the wonderful art and work people have made; individuals, like you and me, doing what they love!  What a wonderful thing to support!

Here are a few of the Treasuries I have created on Etsy to showcase brilliant work that is created by hand.

Hope you enjoy!

From fun in the sun, to back to business

Back in from a great vacation with my great boyfriend, Adrian.  While the forecast called for rain, we fared well! Sun and cool temperatures made our little trip ideal for biking, hiking and camp fires- oh my!  Still a bit too early to go swimming here in Wisconsin.  Next time though; we will be back!

Devil's Lake, Wisconsin.  aka Lake of the Hills

Now that I'm home, and somewhat unpacked, I cannot wait to return to my projects!  I've been re-inspired and plan on spending the next few days working diligently on the "special project" I referenced in an earlier blog.

The unveiling of which to come soon!  Stay tuned!

In the meantime, take a peak at my new listings on Etsy.

V*A*C*A*T*I*O*N

Oh-so close to the summer vacation!  Time is a-ticking!  I will be heading to Devil's Lake State Park on Sunday.  I've found this little Wisconsin gem to be my fav so far.  Did you know that it's one of Wisconsin's oldest state parks?  Last year I went on a number of camping excursions with my boyfriend.  We both agree, Devil's Lake is our #1.

It is currently raining at the moment, so I'm hoping for the best when we actually arrive.  Please hold the rain until the tent is up!

A lot of hiking we did last year; which was a blast!  It was later summer, so the temperature was around the 80 degree mark.

We had a beautiful lake to cool down in after a long day hike.

This year we are bringing our bikes.  22 miles of trails should keep us busy; rain or shine!

God's beautiful bounty!  Cannot wait!  :)
